Goals & Objectives of DUMA

  1. o build better professionalism for better business development, better society, better Bangladesh & ultimately for better world.
  2. To promote and advance the professionalism in all its branches of business administration throughout Bangladesh and abroad.
  3. To build a common platform for career networking, relationship and bridge the gap among the MBA graduates, MBA students, Teachers of Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka, well wishers and professional bodies.
  4. To promote the study of business administration with a view to disseminating information obtained, for facilitating business and economic development of Bangladesh.
  5. To create and develop professionalism by organizing seminar, symposium, workshop & training programs.
  6. To promote the members of the Association by providing scholarship, internship, employment opportunities & career counseling.

  8. To establish a ‘Center of Business Administration’ in Bangladesh for advancement of knowledge and experience.
  9. To establish a Club of ‘Dhaka University MBA Association’ in abbreviation DUMA Club.
  10. To participate in various social activities for the social welfare, development and integrity.
  11. To help in the acquisition and interchange of professional experience among its members.
  12. To promote the professional interests and welfare of its members.
  13. To encourage research in business development & economic utilization of the country’s resources.
  14. To foster co-ordination with similar Association in Bangladesh and in other countries, for mutual benefits in furthering the objects of Association.
  15. To diffuse among its members information on all matters affecting business administration and to encourage, assist and extend knowledge and information connected therewith by establishment and promotion of lectures, discussions or correspondence; by holding of conferences, by publication of papers, periodicals and journals, proceedings, reports, books or other literary undertaking; by encouraging research works or by the formation of library or libraries and collection of models, and articles of interest in connection with business administration or otherwise whatsoever.
  16. To co-operate with various Government agencies and Industrial and Commercial enterprises connected with advising them in matters concerning the profession and practices of business development and promotion of education in business administration.
  17. To encourage inventions and investigate & make known their nature and merits.
  18. To arrange and promote the adoption to equitable forms of business contracts and other documents to encourage settlement of disputes by arbitration and to act as and nominate arbitrators and umpires on such terms as may be expedient.
  19. To promote just and honorable dealings and to stop malpractices in profession.
